Jo Van Moer is the founder, owner and president of the board of directors of his beloved company.
Anne Verstraeten, Jo’s wife, is co-owner of Van Moer.
Patrick Lecluyse is the CEO at Van Moer Logistics and responsible for the further unfolding of the strategic plan that has been set up in 2015. Patrick has two master degrees in Civil Engineering (Materials Engineering and Industrial Management). He started his international career at Bekaert, where he was responsible for several startups in the USA, Chili and Brazil. In 2006 he became CEO of Betafence, European leader in fences. In 2012 he became vice-president of Beaulieu Flooring Solutions. As independent member of the board of directors of Van Moer Logistics he made himself familiar with the activities and DNA of our company, subsequent to which he assumed the role of CEO in late 2016.
Steven Pauwels is Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Van Moer. He started his career at the company in 1994 in operations. Thanks to his strong commitment and operational insights, he evolved from Team Leader to Operations Manager and eventually COO. He is responsible for operational strategies, development and optimisation of operations.
Dennie Lockefeer has been CCO of Van Moer since 2013. Together with his team he is responsible for day-to-day contacts with clients and business development. Dennie is a Master Mariner for all ships and worked with Dubai Ports for 9 years in various operations and commercial roles. He was a member of the Global Organizational Leading Development team (GOLD) in Dubai.
Ann Cools is CFO at Van Moer. She supervises the Finance unit and is the chief financial spokesperson for the organisation. Her main day-to-day responsibilities include planning, implementing, managing and controlling all of the company’s finance-related activities and securing new funding. Ann holds a Master’s degree in Economics and is a Chartered Accountant. She started her career in audit & tax consulting. In 1999 she became Belux CFO of a telecom company and in 2001 she joined G4S, a leading global integrated security company, where she held the role of CFO for almost 13 years. In late 2013 she joined Van Moer with a proven track record in M&A, business integration, strategic planning, development and leadership of the entire finance organisation.
Yves Hebb, HR Director of Van Moer since March 2014, is responsible for the HR strategy, recruitment & selection, reward management, communication and social relations. Before joining Van Moer, he worked with the local police force for 12 years. The last 7 years he was chief of police. He then became a Management Consultant at Mercuri Urval. In 2005 he became Operations Manager at Flightcare (now Swissport) and in 2011 he took the role of HR Business Partner until he joined Van Moer.
Tim Claes joined our family during the holiday season of 2017. As the former COO of Van Loon we’d like to welcome him as our new General Manager Chemicals.
