Earlier this year, Van Moer Logistics took over the on-site activities of JBF Global Europe. A total pool of 30 employees now provides logistical support to the production unit at Laakdal for the international polyester (PET) producer.
Logistical support
During the next five years, Van Moer Logistics will be responsible for loading, unloading and packaging of palletised goods, the planning and operational functioning of the storage batteries (silos) as well as the administrative handling of incoming and outgoing goods.
With this, the Antwerp-based logistics service provider is further expanding its activities in the region, in addition to the Dennie Lockefeer Container Terminal (DLCT) and their warehouse activities in Grobbendonk.
David Liu, Director JBF Global Europe: "We are looking forward to the on-site cooperation with Van Moer Logistics, but also explore the synergies with the inland terminal DLCT and the storage capacities of the logistics group in Grobbendonk."
Expanding on-site logistics
Jo Van Moer, founder and CEO of Van Moer Logistics: "We are not at the bottom of our class when it comes to on-site logistics, we have already started up successful projects for INEOS, Umicore, Delhaize and Caterpillar. We want to offer our customers the complete picture for their supply chain, also within their own company premises."
