Celebrating a new record
2020 was a record year for Van Moer Logistics.
Last year we transported 600.000 TEU in total, or more than 2.400 TEU per day.
That's the equivalent of 2,3 deepsea vessels every month
That means we processed 5% of the total container volume that went through the port of Antwerp in 2020. An all time record for Van Moer Logistics in the past 30 years.
And the best part? We transported 53% of the volume via our inland barges, which indicates that our intermodal strategy is paying off.
Today we have 8 barges and 5 pushparges in our intermodal fleet. Together they have a capacity of 2.440 TEU.
Combined with port our terminal ATO and 5 inland terminals in Antwerp, Grobbendonk, Vilvoorde, Bornem and Wilsele, we offer our partners alternative ways to organize their logistical flows.
