We are pleased to announce the acquisition of Bertels International.
The Antwerp transport company Bertels International has 11 trucks, 15 container chassis and a depot of 13,000 M2 in the Moerstraat on the Antwerp right bank. Bertels International mainly specialises in the transport and storage of ADR tank containers with a storage capacity of 700 TEU.
The turnover for 2020 was €1,8 million.
Owner Peter Bertels is satisfied with the acquisition and will remain active within the company as responsible for the depot in Moerstraat.

Synergy
With the assets of Bertels International we acquire our first tank container depot on the Antwerp right bank.

With this addition, our own tank container fleet of Van Moer Logistics counts 63 wagons, accounting for a share of 12.6% of the entire truck fleet of our group.
We will also invest in a heating installation on the spot, this way we can also offer the heating of tank containers at our new operating base on the right bank.
