Terms & conditions of Van Moer Logistics Christmas Contest

General

1.1 These General Terms and Conditions for Play apply to the Christmas Contest (hereinafter referred to as: the “Contest”) organised by Van Moer Logistics, with its registered office at Keetberglaan, Haven 1054, 2070 Zwijndrecht.

1.2 Participation in the Contest entails acceptance of these Terms and Conditions for Play.

1.3 Van Moer Logistics reserves the right to suspend, terminate or amend the Contest at any time, as well as the right not to distribute the prizes, without any entitlement to compensation for damages on the part of the participants.

1.4 The Code of Conduct for Promotional Games of Chance 2014 applies to this Contest.

Content of the Contest

2.1 During the Dag Van De Vrachtwagenchauffeur event, you will receive a card with QR code from us. By scanning this code, you can fill out and send a form on our website www.vanmoer.com/contest. Provide your email address as well so that we can contact you if you win a prize.

2.2 The Contest will run from Thursday 8 December 2022 until XX December 2022 (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest Period”). The winner(s) will be announced on XX XX December during a livestream on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/vanmoerlogistics

2.3 It will not be possible to enter into correspondence regarding the results of the contest.

Prizes

3.1 A variety of prizes are available

• 1x Apple iPhone 13
• 2x Bluetooth headset
• 3x Safety Jacket

The winners will be announced on XX XX December.

3.2 In order to qualify for their prizes, the winners may be required by Van Moer Logistics to provide the card with the QR code.

3.3 The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for different prizes or for cash.

Participants and participation

4.1 Participation is open to any natural person aged over 18 and resident in Europe. No costs are associated with participation in this contest.

4.2 Van Moer Logistics shall be entitled to exclude a participant from a Contest if it appears that the participant has provided inaccurate, incomplete or misleading information or has committed or attempted to commit fraud in some other way.

4.3 Under no circumstances can Van Moer Logistics be held responsible for the provision by a participant of an incorrect telephone number or email address, resulting in the participant’s address being incorrect or unknown, or for defects in the network, hardware or software resulting in limited or delayed provision of information by the participant, or the loss of such data.

4.4 No gaming tax applies to this Contest.

4.5 By taking part in this Contest, each prize-winner declares that they are prepared to cooperate with any promotional activities associated with the Contest, including the prize ceremony. Any photographs taken by Van Moer Logistics may be used for publicity purposes. The prize-winners also declare that they agree to the publication of a report or editorial article, including photographs, on www.vanmoer.com.

Information

5.1 Participants agree to the provision of their name and email address for the purposes of delivery of the order.

5.2 Van Moer Logistics will handle data with the greatest care and in compliance with the legislation relating to the protection of personal data. The processing of such information will take place in accordance with the Van Moer Logistics Privacy Statement.

5.3 Van Moer Logistics will process the personal data in order to send out newsletters and mail shots.

Amendments to the Terms and Conditions, and technical facilities

6.1 Van Moer Logistics shall be entitled to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time during the Contest, without prior notice, and also to suspend or amend the Contest without providing reasons, without entailing any liability on the part of Van Moer Logistics to compensate participants for any damages. In the event of amendment of these Terms and Conditions Van Moer Logistics will take account of the reasonable interests of the participants.

6.2 Van Moer Logistics do not guarantee the undisturbed and uninterrupted operation of their website(s) or of any services they may use or provide. Despite the care devoted to the management of the website by Van Moer Logistics, it is possible that the information may be incomplete or inaccurate. Participants themselves are responsible for adequate facilities (such as telecommunications facilities) to allow participation in the Contest.

Complaints

7.1 In the event that a participant has a complaint relating to the Contest organised by Van Moer Logistics, they may notify Van Moer Logistics of this within 5 working days after the complaint arises or could reasonably have been identified, by sending an email to info@vanmoer.com with the subject line “Complaint re. Christmas Contest”.

Liability

8.1 Van Moer Logistics shall not be liable for any damages of whatever nature arising from of or associated with the Contest or participation in it. Printing, spelling or typographic errors may not be used in argument against Van Moer Logistics and cannot under any circumstances give rise to any obligation on the part of Van Moer Logistics. Van Moer Logistics shall not be liable for any damages of whatever nature associated with the use of the website or other technical facilities. Van Moer Logistics shall not be responsible or liable for costs incurred by a participant in connection with participation in the Contest.

Force majeure

9.1 Van Moer Logistics reserves the right not to distribute one or more prizes in the event of force majeure. Force majeure shall in any event be taken to include the bankruptcy of the supplier of or sponsor for a prize or any application for cessation of payments by such a supplier and/or sponsor, or by Van Moer Logistics itself.

Applicable law

10.1 These Terms and Conditions and the Contest are subject to the Law of the Netherlands.
