Strengthening our forwarding services through the acquisition of Ziegler Belgium's air freight activities
At Van Moer Logistics, we have believed in seamlessly integrated logistics solutions for more than 35 years. With the acquisition of the air freight division of Ziegler Belgium, we are taking another important step in that ambition.
From today onwards, we are adding air freight to our service portfolio, making our logistics offering even more complete. This not only strengthens our position as a full-service logistics partner but also marks an important next step in our vision of The Perfect Flow.

Adding the missing link
The acquired air freight division of Ziegler Belgium operated as a certified IATA freight forwarder at Brussels Airport and has built strong expertise within the international air freight sector. All activities will be continued by Van Moer Logistics, ensuring a seamless transition and uninterrupted service for customers.
For many customers, logistics no longer stops at the boundaries of a single transport mode. Goods are transported by road, rail, inland waterways, sea freight and air freight. Thanks to this acquisition, we can now offer air freight services entirely in-house and support our customers even better with their international supply chains.
The acquisition also fits within Van Moer Logistics’ broader ambition to further expand its forwarding activities. Over the past years, the group has invested significantly in strengthening its forwarding services, with the objective of supporting customers more effectively in managing their international goods flows. By adding air freight to our portfolio, we further enhance our forwarding expertise and take an important step towards a fully integrated logistics and forwarding offering.
The Perfect Flow
What once started with a single truck has grown into a logistics group employing more than 2,200 people, operating 500 trucks, 15 inland vessels, 850,000 m² of warehouse space and more than 40 locations across Belgium. Throughout this growth journey, one vision has remained at the heart of everything we do: helping customers optimise their logistics processes through smarter, more efficient and better integrated solutions.
With the addition of air freight, we continue to bring that vision to life. Customers can now rely on a single partner to support their entire logistics chain, from warehousing and distribution to forwarding and international transport solutions by road, water, rail and air.
