"Our actual network in Belgium and Luxemburg consists of + 800 shops which we deliver daily in a qualitative, safe, flexible, and sustainable way. Delhaize has a very ambitious business plan where we want to strengthen our market position by extending our network. Commercial growth also brings growing volumes and additional logistic and transport challenges. Quickly changing mobility and environmental topics make it even more challenging.

Our mutual journey started in 2011 with the acquisition by Van Moer Logistics of the Zellik based transport company Wambacq-Peeters. The contract was recently extended for another 5 years. The new contract is based on mutual key values: entrepreneurship, innovation, quality, flexibility, sustainability, and safety. The recent investment of Van Moer Logistics in 20 LNG-trucks for the Delhaize network is a very good example of our strategic partnership.
