35 Years of Van Moer Logistics – Growth Through Partnership
Some moments bring people together in ways you can’t always predict. Our 35-year anniversary event at Kinepolis Antwerp was exactly such an evening.
We welcomed our customers, stakeholders, partners, and a representation of our own colleagues to look back on three and a half decades of Van Moer Logistics.
We reflected on where we came from — the story of one truck, an ambition, and a belief that family-owned companies are stronger together. But we also looked ahead. We shared our vision for the future, our international ambitions, and the investments we aim to realize in the coming years through strong partnerships.

We have always looked at what’s possible
Founders Jo Van Moer and Anne Verstraeten opened the evening with a personal reflection on 35 years of entrepreneurship — from the first kilometres driven with one truck to an international logistics group with 40 locations and more than 2,200 colleagues.
Jo then shifted the focus to the future. To courage. To keeping our eyes forward, even in challenging times. And to how our growth has always been built on partnership.
“You must be willing to look ahead and continue believing in the future. By collaborating with strong family businesses, we can grow sustainably, safeguard our independence, and stand strong against multinationals.”
Our compass for the future
We chose growth through partnership as the central theme of the evening.
Partnership is in our DNA — it has driven our growth for the past 35 years and remains the key to our future.
“Our growth is built on strong family businesses that share our values. These collaborations help us scale without losing our identity.”

A significant investment wave in Belgium
Our investment plans in Belgium form a solid foundation for expanding our national logistics capacity in the years ahead.
Grobbendonk
In early 2026, we will complete a new 20,000 m² warehouse in collaboration with Van Wellen Group. This additional capacity will further support the growth of our DLCT container terminal along the Albert Canal.
Beringen
Together with Aertssen Group and Van Wellen Group, we are developing Beringen Logistics & Terminal, a 250,000 m² site featuring 95,000 m² of warehouses and a 43,000 m² inland container terminal, with the option for SEVESO-class storage.
This will become our sixth inland terminal.
Port of Antwerp
We are investing in a new dry bulk polymer storage installation. The first 63 silos are currently under construction, with expansion planned up to 450 silos on one strategic site.
Brussels
We plan to build a new 17,000 m² warehouse and to double the capacity of our existing container terminal to support increasing demand in the capital.

International ambitions: from China to Houston
Our growth doesn’t stop at Belgium’s borders.
Houston, USA
In a market where production volumes are expected to rise significantly, we see strong opportunities to operate from a greenfield site, delivering our proven Perfect Flow concept and high-quality on-site logistics services.
China
This year, we established a joint venture with WorldEx, a Chinese family-owned logistics company that shares our values and long-term vision.
This partnership will further optimise logistics flows between China and Europe, with the Port of Antwerp-Bruges as a key gateway.
Saudi Arabia
We are taking new steps in the region through a commercial joint venture with family-owned company Tanajib.
Qatar
Together with Aertssen Group and local partner Q-Fab, we are participating in a tender for a large-scale on-site logistics operation.
The project covers a ten-year contract and the potential employment of around 500 team members.

BLUE
One of the most memorable moments of the evening was the premiere of our new corporate film, BLUE.
BLUE captures the spirit that drives our people every day: the energy, the pride, the connection, and the unmistakable blue identity that runs through our organisation.
The film reflects not only what we do, but also what we stand for — and where we are heading.

Together we continue writing our BLUE story
Our 35th anniversary was more than a retrospective.
It was an evening that reminded us how strong we stand thanks to our customers, partners, stakeholders, and our own people.
We are proud of the road behind us.
But we are equally excited about the journey ahead.
And we will continue writing the next chapter together — blue at heart, today and tomorrow.
