ATO covers almost 175.000 M2 and processes over 500.000 TEU per year along the ½ km long quay.
With the arrival of Van Moer Logistics this volume will even increase and besides that, Boortmalt will invest in additional production capacity at the 6th dock.
Intermodal strategy
This acquisition is an important strategic decision for our intermodal activities, we can now offer water-bound logistics, but ATO will also function as HUB for the hinterland corridor.
Our barge service iBarge, has daily calls at the Vilvoorde terminal, Umicore and Blue Gate, and is now completed with the ATO terminal.
