Van Moer Logistics has deployed an electric truck for its construction logistics operations in the Netherlands. The use of trucks in the construction sector makes it ideal for electric driving, as they typically cover short distances in repetitive patterns.

The introduction of electric trucks at Van Moer Logistics is part of the development of their own dedicated loading area for freight traffic, which will enable the logistics provider to further expand its electric fleet. Once the construction project is completed, the electric truck will return to the Port of Antwerp, a strategic hub for Van Moer Logistics' operations.
Jo Van Moer, co-founder of Van Moer Logistics, highlights: "This investment in electrification is a clear demonstration of our ongoing commitment to sustainability and innovation. It is just the beginning of a larger plan to further expand our electric fleet and reduce our ecological footprint."
