CPCHEM

Chevron Phillips Chemical and Van Moer Logistics decided to start a new cooperation. After a thorough audit and evaluation, Van Moer Logistics was chosen to handle part of the logistical flows of the chemical giant.

Collaboration

Van Moer Logistics will take care of Chevron Phillips's import and export flows that are processed by their production departments in Beringen and Tessenderlo. Specifically, it concerns national tank transports, heating tank containers and the storage of both bulk (isotanks) and packaged goods (drums / IBCs).

Drumming

However, Van Moer Logistics also invested in a drumming installation to further expand our services for chemical players. Chevron Philips Chemical will also make use of this new service by having their goods repackaged from bulk to drums or IBCs at our Antwerp Seveso site.

Sustainable logistics

The long-term goal of both companies is to review the current design of the logistics flows in order to possibly organize them via inland shipping in combination with night transport. These projects will be further developed as the cooperation between Van Moer Logistics and Chevron Phillips Chemical further develops.
